Pop superstar Taylor Swift unveiled her new song "Patient Zero" following her wedding to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The track, her first since the July ceremony at Madison Square Garden, will be released Friday. Swift announced the news via a cryptic countdown clock on her website, which displayed a red curtain and ended at 2pm Eastern.
Her fans, known as Swifties, quickly decoded the message and discovered three limited-edition CD versions of the song, priced at $3.99 each. Swift's most recent album, "The Life of a Showgirl," was released last October. She is set to receive the inaugural Artist Director Honors at Sunday's MTV VMAs, where she has 30 wins and nine nominations this year.
