Starlink ground station in Poland hit by fire in suspected arson attack

A fire at a Starlink ground station in Wola Krobowska, Poland, near Warsaw, was deliberately set, according to digital affairs minister Krzysztof Gawkowski. The facility, owned by Polish state telecommunications operator Exatel, provides internet services across the region, including in Ukraine. Gawkowski stated that the modus operandi in this case is clearly Russian and described the incident as another element of the hybrid warfare Poland is facing.

Polish security services are still investigating the cause of the fire, but everything points towards arson. This attack follows a series of similar incidents targeting critical infrastructure in Poland in recent years, with Russia allegedly behind many of them.
