ScamAdviser presents agentic AI fraud prevention tools at San Francisco summit

ScamAdviser showcased its advanced scam prevention tools at the Global Anti-Scam Summit (GASS) America 2026 in San Francisco. The summit brought together leaders from tech, finance, and cybersecurity to tackle digital scam challenges. ScamAdviser's Watchmen solution was recognized with the prestigious Scam Fighter Award for its contributions to global impersonation protection.

During the summit, ScamAdviser's CEO Aaron Chiou led a panel discussion titled "The Agent Is the New Victim – From Social Engineering to Agent Engineering." The panel explored how autonomous AI agents are becoming targets for digital fraudsters as consumers rely more on AI for tasks like finding deals and completing transactions. Chiou highlighted that AI's probabilistic nature makes static prompt rules ineffective against dynamic web content, hidden malicious code, and spoofed online storefronts.

To address this issue, ScamAdviser introduced AgentLooker.ai, a real-time security guard designed to protect AI agents during dynamic web interactions. Watchmen, ScamAdviser's fraud early warning system, won the Scam Fighter Award at GASS America for its effectiveness in combating digital scams, particularly social media impersonation.

Watchmen continuously monitors corporate communication channels, using multi-layered filtering, expert rule engines, and LLM semantic analysis to deliver real-time monitoring and automated anti-scam mechanisms.
