Petrol costs over N3,000/litre in UK, Nigerians are enjoying — Okpebholo

Nigerian Governor Monday Okpebholo has revealed that a litre of petrol in the United Kingdom costs more than N3,000, while Nigerians pay significantly less for the same commodity at home. At a recent event in Edo State, Okpebholo compared fuel prices in both countries to highlight the disparity. He visited London the previous week to personally witness the difference, stating that the cost of petrol in the UK was approximately 3,000-something per litre.

The governor emphasized that Nigerians are currently enjoying more affordable fuel prices, attributing this to the stabilisation of the economy under President Bola Tinubu. Okpebholo also commended ongoing economic reforms and development projects, such as road construction, across Nigeria, expressing confidence in the country's future under the current administration.
