Pakistan conducted precision aerial and drone strikes at 10 locations across Afghanistan. The strikes were in retaliation for drones launched from Afghanistan a day earlier, according to Information Minister Atauallah Tarar.
The strikes were described as "deliberate, precise, calibrated and proportionate" and targeted identified military objectives directly linked to the attempted attacks against Pakistan, Tarar said in a post on social media platform X.
The information minister stated that the strikes were carried out in exercise of Pakistan's sovereign right to self-defence.
