NPFL: Yusuf thumbs up Shooting Stars’ win over Katsina United

Shooting Stars' technical adviser, Salisu Yusuf, has expressed satisfaction with his team's 2-0 home victory over Katsina United. Olanrewaju Ridwan opened the scoring in the 20th minute, and Qamar Adegoke added a second goal 18 minutes from the end. Yusuf believes the win will boost his team's confidence as they prepare for their upcoming away games.

He stated, "The points will give the team much confidence to go into the next game. We have two games away. I think it is a good morale booster for the team." Yusuf also noted that his team has shown improvement since their previous defeat to Plateau United. "In the team-building process, you keep correcting mistakes every game.

I’m very happy that the mistakes we corrected in the previous game against Plateau United yielded a positive result, discipline-wise and tactically," Yusuf added. "That is why our opponent couldn’t create any chance against us. This is a good omen for the team. The target is to get a continental ticket, which I believe we have the team to do."
