Technical adviser Gbenga Ogunbote of Plateau United admitted that his team were careless in their 2-2 draw against Doma United at the Pantami Stadium. Despite fighting back from two goals down, Plateau United failed to secure a maximum of three points. The Peace Boys scored twice, with Michael Adegbite netting twice to put Doma United ahead.
Plateau United's Gideon Monday and Paul Samson managed to level the score. Ogunbote stated, "It was good that we were able to get this one point, it wasn’t an easy one." He added, “It was a two goals loss.” Ogunbote urged the fans to continue their support, noting that the synergy between new and old players is still developing. "The team is still a work in progress," he concluded.
