Man Utd selling Old Trafford turf cubes for £125

Manchester United is selling pieces of their Old Trafford pitch for £125 each. The club revealed this initiative on the same day it reported that overall debt remains over £1 billion. The first batch of these turf cubes has already been snapped up. Despite recording a record revenue of £677.6 million and a £22.6 million operating profit for the 2025-26 season, United suffered a pre-tax loss of £43 million.

The club also spent £63.5 million on land acquisition for their new stadium, which is expected to cost more than £2 billion in total. This summer, for the first time in 14 years, Old Trafford's pitch was dug up and stripped back to its foundation. Sections of the turf were preserved, with 7x7cm sized pieces placed in glass cubes.
