F.I.R. actor Ishwar Thakur in ICU as family seeks funds amid rising medical costs: 'We spent all our savings'

Television actor Ishwar Thakur, known for his role as Golu in the comedy series F.I.R., is currently in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a hospital in Thane, Maharashtra, due to a severe kidney infection. His family has taken to social media to appeal for financial assistance as they have exhausted their savings on his medical expenses.

The health issues began in 2020, around three months prior to the COVID-19 lockdown. Ishwar developed a wound on his foot, which did not heal due to his diabetes. The infection eventually spread to his kidneys, worsening significantly in the past few days.

Jayshree, Ishwar's sister, revealed to HT City that her brother has not responded since being admitted to the hospital. She shared an appeal for financial help on Instagram Stories, stating that the family has spent all its savings on his treatment and is struggling to manage the rising costs of hospitalization, medicines, and diagnostic tests. She emphasized that a family doctor familiar with Ishwar's medical history is overseeing his care, and the family wishes to continue with this treatment.

Ishwar Thakur is primarily known for his work in Hindi television comedy, often in supporting roles. He is best recognized for his portrayal of Golu in F.I.R. and also appeared in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! among other television credits.
