L&T Technology Services Partners With Cognite To Advance Engineering Intelligence With Industrial AI

Mumbai, 24 September 2026 - L&T Technology Services (LTTS) has entered into a strategic partnership with Cognite, a global pioneer in Industrial AI, to bolster engineering intelligence. The collaboration aims to develop and provide joint industrial AI and data solutions tailored for asset-intensive industries. This new venture adds to LTTS's Engineering Intelligence portfolio, complementing Cognite's Industrial AI expertise.

LTTS has set up a dedicated Cognite Centre of Excellence and certified over 50 engineers to work on this initiative. The company is currently co-developing sector-specific solutions to cater to industries such as Oil & Gas, Chemicals, LNG, Consumer Goods, Mining, and Industrial Manufacturing on a global scale.

The partnership's inaugural project focuses on converting the manual mechanical-integrity process of a leading global oil and gas company into a contextualized, scalable digital workflow. This transformation is anticipated to enhance efficiency, expedite risk identification, and mitigate downtime and safety incidents.

Girish Rishi, CEO of Cognite, highlighted how Cognite's expansive industry reach complements LTTS's domain knowledge and engineering prowess.
