Kemelut PN: Peja ‘kecewa, marah, malu, dikhianati’

Bersatu Deputy President Ahmad Faizal Azumu described the recent Perikatan Nasional (PN) turmoil as disappointing, shameful, and a betrayal of the shared struggle. Faizal, known as Peja, expressed his feelings of disappointment, anger, shame, and betrayal on Facebook. "Just know, I am disappointed, angry, embarrassed, and betrayed," he stated.

Without naming any parties, Faizal criticized leaders who shifted their stance after their leadership position was no longer the highest. "When that leader was on top, you were subservient, respectful, sharing all benefits, feeling powerful," he said. "When that leader was down, you still protested, undermined, and slandered the promises made."

Faizal also criticized those who blamed other leaders for every problem without acknowledging their own mistakes. He reminded himself that there is no perfect person and everyone needs to acknowledge and correct their own mistakes. "I am ashamed of myself. I am not perfect. Of course, I made mistakes. I have to correct them. I don't need to raise my finger as if I am always right and others are always wrong. Maybe you are too, so you should be."
