Jharkhand minister’s daughter among 4 killed as car rams truck in Jamshedpur

On Thursday morning in Jamshedpur, a tragic car-truck collision occurred on Marine Drive Road, resulting in the deaths of four individuals. Among the victims was Trisha Singh, the daughter of Jharkhand Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Dipika Pandey Singh. The other deceased were identified as Sarthak Agarwal, Naman Gupta, and Vanshika Khandelwal.

The accident took place near the Sonari police station area, where the truck had been stationary since the previous night due to a breakdown. A car, a Swift Dezire, was traveling from the opposite direction and collided with the stationary truck. All four passengers in the car were killed on the spot.

Official sources, including Sonari police station officer-in-charge Sanjay Suman and Deputy Superintendent of Police Manoj Thakur, confirmed the identities of the deceased and the circumstances of the accident. The bodies have been sent to MGM Hospital for post-mortem examination.

Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar and Chief Minister Hemant Soren both expressed their condolences to the grieving families, emphasizing the immense grief and sorrow associated with the untimely deaths of the young lives.
