Jayden Reed injury update from Packers wide receiver's fiancée

Aneisha Cox, fiancee of Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed, shared her thoughts about his recent neck injury during a TikTok video. Cox, who is also the 2025 Miss Wisconsin USA, explained that injuries can happen unexpectedly, and Reed's injury occurred again during the Packers' Week 2 game against the New York Jets on September 20.

Cox, who had planned to attend the game, decided to stay home to be with Reed from her home in Wisconsin, nearly 1,000 miles away. After the injury, Cox traveled to New York to provide an update on Reed's condition the following day. She stated that Reed is doing well, but the recovery process is a day-by-day situation. Cox also expressed her gratitude for the support and prayers received by Reed and his family.

Reed sustained the injury during the Packers' first offensive play, catching a bubble screen before being hit, leading to him staying down for an extended period. The Packers' medical team quickly attended to him, loading him onto a stretcher and eventually a cart. Reed's long-term prognosis remains uncertain, and he did not join the team after the game for further evaluation.

Reed has since returned to Green Bay and is consulting doctors for the next steps. It remains unclear if he will return this season. With Reed sidelined, the Packers' wide receiver depth chart includes Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, Skyy Moore, Bo Melton, and J. Michael Sturdivant. Wide receiver Savion Williams is currently on the physically unable to perform list.
