Grand Mufti urges front-line soldiers to stand united in repelling Houthi attacks

Saudi Arabia's Grand Mufti, Sheikh Saleh Al-Fawzan, has called upon Coalition forces and Saudi soldiers on the front line to remain united in their efforts to repel Houthi attacks. In a statement, the Grand Mufti, who heads the Council of Senior Scholars, advised the troops to remain patient and steadfast in their mission. He warned of the dangers posed by the Houthi terrorist group, describing them as a band of evil founded on corrupt faith and methodology.

The Grand Mufti emphasized the importance of standing together against this misguided sect, which claims the Prophet's companions are infidels, deems Muslim blood permissible, and desecrates mosques by demolishing them. He stressed the need to restore legitimate government in Yemen for the safety and prosperity of its people, enabling them to join the rest of the Islamic world in progress and unity.

The Grand Mufti praised the honor Saudi Arabia has received in serving the Two Holy Mosques and reminded troops of the great rewards for those on the front lines. He recounted the tradition of the Prophet (peace be upon him), urging soldiers to obey their commanders and execute orders precisely, following the example of the Prophet's companions.

The Grand Mufti specifically mentioned the enemy's corrupt actions, including dividing the people, rebelling against rulers, and plotting against Muslim holy sites. He expressed his greetings and appreciation to coalition forces, urging them to hold fast to the rope of God, unite their ranks, and cooperate with one another. Sheikh Al-Fawzan prayed to God for the forces' aid and protection, asking for the eradication of the Houthi group and all who support them.
