Former Sarawak DCM George Chan scores hole-in-one ahead of 90th birthday

Former Sarawak Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Dr George Chan Hong Nam celebrated his upcoming 90th birthday with a memorable hole-in-one while golfing in Singapore. Achieving a hole-in-one, a rare shot in golf where the ball is hit directly from the tee into the cup on the first stroke, is considered one of the most coveted accomplishments in the sport.

Dr. Chan's milestone provided an ideal birthday moment, as he remains an active participant in the game, frequently playing alongside friends. Alongside his wife, Datin Patinggi Datuk Wira Lorna Enan Muloon Chan, Dr. Chan has navigated his life through public service, family, and community engagement throughout his years in politics.
