Fantasy Baseball Closer Report: End-of-season closer rankings

In this week's Closer Report, we present the final 2026 edition of the Closer Rankings. Mason Miller took the top spot, leading the way wire-to-wire as the best closer in baseball. In 68 innings, he went 37-for-40 in save chances with a 1.19 ERA, 0.84 WHIP, and 125 strikeouts. Other breakout closers included Bryan Baker and Louis Varland, who both established themselves as top high-leverage relievers with 40 saves and impressive ERA, WHIP, and strikeout numbers.

Trevor Megill of the Milwaukee Brewers, David Bednar of the New York Yankees, and Aroldis Chapman of the Boston Red Sox rounded out the tier one closers. The rankings also showcased several promising young talents, such as Emilio Pagan of the Cincinnati Reds, Andrés Muñoz of the Seattle Mariners, and Riley O'Brien of the St. Louis Cardinals.
