Dolly Parton’s manager accuses her nephew of ‘threats and intimidation’

Dolly Parton's management company, She's Alive, has accused her nephew Bryan Seaver of making "threats, intimidation, and coercion" against the estate, according to court documents obtained by the media. Seaver, who had been Parton's head of security for the last 20 years, was chosen to announce her death last month. The allegations have emerged as part of a legal dispute over the singer's legacy and business interests.

She's Alive is seeking a temporary civil restraining order against Seaver in response to his actions. The legal papers claim that Seaver orchestrated a "deliberate and escalating campaign of threats," threatening to destroy her empire if the estate did not pay him. However, Seaver has vehemently denied the accusations. In a statement to TMZ, he argued that text messages and emails cited in the court application were taken out of context, implying he was being threatened.

He maintained that many of the comments were "two guys having rage talk and crying on the phone together while we were grieving." Seaver, the son of Parton's sister Cassie, had been responsible for the singer's security detail for the final two decades of her life.
