BCCQ strengthens UK-Qatar business links with new office

The British Chamber of Commerce Qatar (BCCQ) has taken a significant step in strengthening business links between the UK and Qatar by opening a new office within Invest Qatar's Lusail premises. This move comes as part of the Chamber's progress since transitioning from the Qatar British Business Forum (QBBF) in January 2026. The new office, which will be situated alongside Invest Qatar's investment teams and Corporate Affairs, provides BCCQ with a practical base to engage more closely with existing and prospective members, as well as business stakeholders in Qatar.

This development follows Invest Qatar's relocation to its Lusail offices in August, further solidifying the partnership between the two organisations. A joint report examining opportunities for bilateral trade and investment between the UK and Qatar was also released earlier this year. The BCCQ's new office will also enable greater engagement with the broader investment and business ecosystem in Qatar, while continuing to support its members through access to relevant institutions, business insight, and engagement opportunities.

BCCQ Chairman Emad Turkman MBE praised the partnership with Invest Qatar, emphasizing its importance in building a Chamber that delivers practical value for businesses and strengthens the UK-Qatar business relationship.
