The company plans to use the raised funds to expand its teams, invest in GPU compute and training data, and build secure, private, and on-premises infrastructure for sensitive industries. ByteAsk expects engineers to use its product six times more intensively than a comparable open-source coding agent, with weekly active users doubling week-on-week.
In internal benchmarks, ByteAsk's model resolves 89% of engineering tickets compared to 61% for the best existing model without the specialized environment. They are also developing a post-training approach for C++ to release the first language model specifically post-trained for the language within the next six to eight months. Y Combinator partner Nemil Dalal praised the founders' passion, authenticity, and technical expertise in identifying a gap in current AI coding tools.
