Verification process: PSW integrates with NADRA PakID Mobile App

Islamabad, Pakistan - The Pakistan Single Window (PSW) has successfully integrated with the National Database and Registration Authority's (NADRA) PakID Mobile App, streamlining the verification process for PSW users. This integration allows users to complete mandatory biometric verification remotely using their smartphones, eliminating the need to physically visit a NADRA e-Sahulat Centre.

Previously, biometric verification required users to visit an e-Sahulat Centre, but with this new PakID integration, users can now complete the process digitally through their mobile devices, subject to NADRA's verification requirements. The convenience of this feature is particularly beneficial for overseas Pakistanis involved in trade-related activities in Pakistan.

Both remote verification through the PakID Mobile App and traditional visits to e-Sahulat Centres will be available during an interim period to ensure a seamless transition for the business community. Syed Aftab Haider, CEO of PSW, expressed the company's commitment to addressing the needs of the PSW community in Pakistan and overseas by enabling remote biometric verification, thus making the onboarding process more convenient, accessible, and user-driven.
