Teen gang-raped inside Delhi park: 3 accused may have planned the crime, suspect cops

Three men accused of gang-raping a 17-year-old girl in a Delhi park may have planned the crime beforehand, according to investigators. The Delhi Police added conspiracy sections to the FIR after recovering a gun, a knife, and condoms from one of the accused, Asif. Police are investigating if Asif, along with his accomplices Mukesh and Hemant, intended to target women in Astha Kunj Park, given allegations that he had harassed people repeatedly and carried a weapon.

Pornographic videos were found on Asif's phone, and Mukesh and Hemant allegedly deleted their search history. The accused reportedly used police language and threats to convince the victim and her friend that they were police officers. After the assault, the men washed their clothes to eliminate evidence. The victim's friend was held captive by an accused inside the park while the victim was taken to a different corner. The accused threatened the victim not to disclose the incident to anyone.
