Police set September 23 deadline for SPY documentation in Ogun

The Ogun State Police Command has initiated a comprehensive documentation and verification process for Supernumerary Police personnel throughout the state. This initiative commenced on September 23, 2026, and is set to conclude on October 7, 2026. Deputy Superintendent of Police Oluseyi Babasiyi confirmed the details via the social media platform X on Wednesday.

Organizations possessing Supernumerary Police personnel are mandated to ensure their employees attend the Police Public Relations Department at the Ogun State Police Command Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta, to participate in the exercise. The command emphasized that individuals must submit their training certificates, photocopies, warrant cards or certificates of "To Whom It May Concern," recent passport photographs in approved uniforms, and any other pertinent documentation.

The primary objective of this endeavor is to enhance the accurate documentation, verification, and oversight of Supernumerary Police personnel operating within Ogun State.
