‘No place for dictatorship’: Ritabrata Banerjee on EC’s TMC symbol freeze
The Election Commission has temporarily frozen the All India Trinamool Congress name and ‘Flowers and Grass’ symbol ahead of the West Bengal bypolls. Reacting to the order, Leader of the Opposition Ritabrata Banerjee said, “Democracy has no place for dictatorship.” Both rival factions have been asked to submit alternative names and symbols.
