A viral video has sparked outrage after it showed a man brutally beating a toddler with what appears to be a charger cable. The shirtless individual, seen in the footage on X by @NigeriaStories, repeatedly struck the child on the head, causing them to fall to the tiled floor in distress. The man continued to assault the child, who covered her head with her hands and cried out in pain.
Despite his aggressive threats, like "Ori ẹ o ma pe," the man attempted to force the child back up. In response to the disturbing clip, the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) vowed to identify and prosecute the perpetrator. The agency urged anyone with information to reach out through their official channels, emphasizing their commitment to child protection.
