Man Utd sees 2027 revenue boost from Champions League

Manchester United anticipates a significant increase in revenue for fiscal year 2027, buoyed by their qualification for this season's Champions League. The English club, which has been plagued by inconsistency both on and off the pitch, reported its seventh consecutive annual loss, with net losses rising to £43 million, up from £33 million the previous year.

Despite these challenges, Manchester United remains committed to a disciplined approach to maintain financial sustainability. Club CEO Omar Berrada revealed that the team expects revenues between £740 million and £760 million, up from £677.6 million in the previous fiscal year, ending June 30, 2027. British billionaire Jim Ratcliffe, a minority owner of the club, has implemented cost-cutting measures, including job reductions and ticket price increases, to reduce debt and bolster profitability.
