Lawyer Slaps Man Accused Of Molesting Minor Outside Bihar Court, Says He Deserved Harsher Punishment

Patna: A lawyer slapped a man accused of molesting a minor girl outside a Bihar court on Wednesday, claiming the accused deserved a harsher punishment than being merely slapped. Lawyer Akash Pandey confronted Hareram Yadav, who was being escorted from the court by police, and delivered a slap to the accused. In an interview, Pandey later stated that Yadav "should have been shot dead" instead of being slapped.

When asked if he had acted outside the law, Pandey said he was prepared to face any legal consequences. The case involves an alleged assault and harassment of two Class 10 students on September 19, which was captured on video and went viral on social media. Police subsequently arrested several suspects in connection with the incident.
