Lawyer Slaps Jamui Groping Accused Hareram Yadav Outside Court, Says ‘I’m Human First’ - VIDEO

In Bihar’s Jamui, lawyer Akash Pandey slapped the main accused in a molestation case outside the court, according to a video. The incident occurred on Wednesday evening when accused Hareram Yadav was being escorted out of the court premises after his appearance. The lawyer, angered by the case involving a minor girl, slapped Yadav, stating, "I’m human first."

This action prompted brief chaos outside the court, with police intervening to escort the accused away. Some people gathered outside questioned how Yadav would react if a similar incident occurred to his sister. Yadav had been brought from the hospital earlier in the day but wasn't taken for an immediate hearing due to the large crowd outside.

He was later produced in court that evening. Police Superintendent Vishwajit Dayal confirmed Yadav was among two accused arrested following a police action and was medically fit for court production. The second accused was still recovering and couldn't be taken. Bihar Woman Minister’s comments on the incident sparked controversy, but Advocate Pandey admitted to his actions, saying they were an expression of public outrage and accepted the consequences if the law punished him.

The District Bar Association decided no lawyer would represent the accused, with the president and general secretary announcing the unanimous decision due to the alleged incident.
