Klopp calls on Germany to 'rise above ourselves' as new era begins

Germany’s new coach Jurgen Klopp urged his players to rise above themselves and harness the power of collective effort ahead of their crucial match against the Netherlands in Amsterdam on Thursday. The team is still reeling from a third consecutive early exit from the World Cup, having been eliminated by Paraguay in the last 32.

Klopp, previously at Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund, often championed the idea of developing a system that would enable a team to triumph over its opponents through exceptional individual players. He noted that exceptional performances by individual players within the national team were rare.
