Iran’s leadership warns US against any new attacks after Trump’s threat at UN

Iran’s leadership has issued a stern warning to the United States against launching any further attacks on the nation following US President Donald Trump's threat of "annihilation" during his address to the UN General Assembly. Trump suggested that he must decide whether to reach a deal with Iran post-midterm elections or launch a military strike against the country.

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) responded by stating that any such action would result in failure for the United States, according to Iran's state-run Press TV. IRGC spokesman Hossein Mohebbi criticized Trump for repeating previous threats that he was unable to execute. The General Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces declared that Tehran would retaliate with "harsher, crushing, and unpredictable blows," emphasizing that the US's repeated "baseless allegations and threats" do not signify strength.

Meanwhile, parliamentary speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf vowed that Iran would not yield or cease its activities despite US pressure, stating that Iran would respond with equal force, as reported by Tasnim news agency.
