Interswitch Announces TechConnect 6.0 Series with Focus on Adaptive Financial Infrastructure

Interswitch, a prominent African integrated payments and digital commerce firm, will launch the sixth installment of its TechConnect industry engagement series in Owerri, Imo State, on September 24. The event, themed "Built for What's Next: Designing Adaptive Financial Infrastructure for a Dynamic Market," is set to convene government, financial services, technology, and business leaders to deliberate on the infrastructure, partnerships, and capabilities essential for a shifting digital economy.

The programme will feature a keynote address by Mr. Justice R. Okoye, Executive Chairman of Imo State Internal Revenue Service, who will address the role of adaptive financial infrastructure in fortifying institutions, enhancing service delivery, and fostering broader economic engagement. Tyoyila Aga, the Vice-President of Business Innovation and Growth at Interswitch, will discuss the importance of designing infrastructure with change in mind, emphasizing the necessity for scalable, interoperable, secure, and resilient systems as markets become more digital and interconnected.

A focal point of the Owerri edition is the panel discussion "Driving Digital Transformation Through Public-Private Partnerships," which will explore collaboration between government, financial institutions, technology providers, and businesses to create more connected and sustainable digital solutions. This discussion, moderated by Faith Ukpai, will delve into the critical aspects of digital systems, including interoperability, cybersecurity, data protection, resilience, and the ability to adapt to evolving business and customer demands.

The event will also host a fireside chat, "Building a Digital Economy: The Role of Government, Industry, and Talent in Shaping the Future," featuring Nomso Ebonwu, Commissioner for Commerce & Industry in Anambra State, and Robinta Aluyi, Chief Sales Officer at Interswitch. Moderated by Suliat Aliyu, Head of Partnership at Interswitch, this session will examine the vital roles of government, industry, and talent in shaping the digital economy's growth.

Following the Owerri event, TechConnect 6.0 will proceed to Abuja, Ibadan, and Lagos in October, providing stakeholders across various markets and sectors with a platform to exchange ideas, share insights, and examine the infrastructure, innovation, and partnerships required to sustain the digital finance sector's evolution.
