Ignore fake conference advertisement, Army College tells Nigerians

The Nigerian Army College of Logistics and Management (NACOLM) has cautioned Nigerians against falling for an online advertisement claiming a "Highstone Global University USA International Research Conference" would be held at the college. In a statement dated September 22, 2026, NACOLM publicly declared the advertisement false and fraudulent, asserting that it has no association with the purported conference.

The college's Public Relations Officer, Major Innocent Audu, stated that the college has no affiliation, partnership, endorsement, or involvement with the purported event, and no such conference has been authorized to take place at the college. Audu urged the public not to make payments or share personal information related to the fraudulent conference.

NACOLM emphasized its commitment to protecting its name, facilities, and official engagements, stating that any authorized program or event involving the college would be communicated through its recognized official channels and those of the Nigerian Army. The college also called on the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious solicitations linked to the fraudulent event to the appropriate authorities.
