Ignore fake conference advertisement, Army College tells Nigerians

The Nigerian Army College of Logistics and Management (NACOLM) has issued a warning to Nigerians against a fraudulent online advertisement for a supposed "Highstone Global University USA International Research Conference." In a statement dated September 22, 2026, NACOLM clarified that they have no affiliation, partnership, endorsement, or involvement in the alleged conference, which was not authorized to take place at the college.

The college's Public Relations Officer, Major Innocent Audu, emphasized that the advertisement is false and fraudulent, urging the public not to make any payments or disclose personal information in connection with the purported event. NACOLM remains committed to protecting its reputation and official engagements, and any authorized programmes or events involving the college would be communicated through their official channels.

The college also advised the public to exercise caution and report any suspicious solicitations related to the fake conference to the appropriate authorities.
