Ayu Shahirah Salem, a Sarawakian from Miri, has become a prominent career adviser with over 125,000 followers on LinkedIn. Her journey began with a single post in 2020 that went viral, receiving nearly two million impressions and 10,000 likes in just 24 hours. Ayu, who studied software engineering at Universiti Teknologi Petronas, decided to share her resume on LinkedIn, offering practical advice on crafting effective resumes, navigating job markets, and acing interviews.

Her advice resonated with many, leading to a viral post that inspired others to replicate her success. Today, Ayu works as a product designer at BP, the global energy corporation, while pursuing a PhD in information technology. She has been invited to speak at public talks and events, both online and in person, and even appeared on LinkedIn's Top 50 Malaysia lists.

Despite facing criticism and hate during her early days of posting, Ayu remains committed to helping others and has become the face of BP's billboard campaign at KL Sentral, making her the first Sarawakian woman to represent the corporation in Malaysia.
