GGCL shakeup highlights latest girls volleyball power rankings

The Greater Cincinnati girls volleyball power rankings have seen a shakeup, highlighting the latest teams making waves in the league. Mount Notre Dame, Mason, Ross, Springboro, Harrison, Ryle, Goshen, Taylor, Bishop Brossart and Wyoming are currently ranked 10th. St. Henry Crusaders, currently sitting at number 9 with a perfect record of 17-5, have been on a streak, losing to only two out-of-state teams.

They are set to host Ursuline and Fenwick at the end of the season. Notre Dame Pandas, ranked 8th with an impressive 13-6 record, have found their rhythm with strong defense, particularly at the net. Kings Knights, in 7th place, have only lost five sets in the last four weeks and have a crucial match coming up against Milford. Ursuline Lions, ranked 6th with an 8-4 record, are making a comeback after a three-match losing streak.

Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy Eagles, now 5th with a 12-1 record, showed signs of fatigue after a close win against Roger Bacon but are primed for upcoming challenges. St. Ursula Bulldogs, ranked 4th with a 9-7 record, need to establish consistency as they near the end of the season. Beechwood Tigers, at number 3 with an unmatched 18-1 record, have dominated the season so far and face more top-ranked teams ahead.

Fenwick Falcons, ranked 2nd with a 13-1 record, have proven to be a formidable force and should secure two more easy wins before the final stretch. McNicholas Rockets, currently 1st with a perfect 13-1 record, are firing on all cylinders, with key players contributing significantly to their success. Seton Saints, currently at the top with a 14-0 record, continue their winning streak, with their star player Charley Moeddel topping the league in numerous statistical categories.
