The Cape Cod and Islands High School Player of the Week Poll has opened, allowing sports enthusiasts to vote on which boys soccer players stood out during the previous week. This voting period will run from Wednesday to Tuesday, with the winners being announced every Wednesday. The process begins on this page, where readers can scroll down to cast their votes. The poll is accessible only through the Cape Cod Times website or mobile sites; submissions via email and social media will not be considered.

Patrick Endres, from Sturgis East, secured the first poll of the season with 51.4% of the votes. In his debut as a goalie this season, Endres made 14 crucial saves, including a remarkable backward tip over the crossbar in a loss to Carver. This week's contenders include Eli Bassil from St. John Paul II, who scored his second hat trick of the season in a 8-0 win over Rising Tide; Aldo Lemus from Nantucket, who contributed one goal and two assists in a 6-1 victory over Monomoy; Stoyan Popov from Nantucket, who scored a hat trick in a win over Monomoy; Sam Reynolds from Upper Cape, who recorded three clean sheets in four days, including wins over Blue Hills and Wareham, as well as a draw with Bristol Plymouth; Brady Sheehan from Sturgis East, who provided three assists as the Storm defeated South Shore 7-1; and Rahvarion Smith from Cape Tech, who scored all four goals in a 4-1 win over South Shore Tech.
