BISE Lahore 12th Class Result Gazette Released

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has recently unveiled the 12th Class Result Gazette for the year 2026, specifically for the Intermediate Part-I & II First Annual Examination. A total of 192,950 candidates had applied for the examination, but only 189,373 candidates managed to take the test. Of those who appeared, 123,060 students successfully passed the examination, leading to an overall pass percentage of 64.98%.

The examination process began on May 20, 2026, and concluded on August 19, 2026. The Theory papers were completed on July 8, while the practical exams wrapped up on the same day. The official result was announced on September 23, 2026, covering candidates from the Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib districts.

In terms of gender representation, female candidates outperformed their male counterparts with a higher overall pass percentage of 74.96%. A total of 108,851 female candidates took the exam, with 81,590 of them passing the test. In contrast, 80,091 male candidates appeared for the examination, and 41,247 of them passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 51.50%.

Among the main Intermediate groups, Pre-Medical students had the highest pass percentage at 83.28%. A total of 39,477 Pre-Medical candidates appeared for the examination, with 32,878 of them passing. Pre-Engineering candidates had a pass rate of 79.23%, followed by Commerce at 67.24%, General Science at 63.20%, and Humanities and Other groups at 53.33%.

Here is a breakdown of the pass percentages for each group:

- Pre-Medical: 83.28% (39,477 appeared, 32,878 passed)

- Pre-Engineering: 79.23% (7,958 appeared, 6,305 passed)

- Commerce: 67.24% (11,231 appeared, 7,552 passed)

- General Science: 63.20% (67,114 appeared, 42,419 passed)

- Humanities & Others: 53.33% (63,162 appeared, 33,683 passed)

At the district level, Nankana Sahib led with a pass percentage of 71.15%, with 8,028 candidates passing out of 11,283 who appeared. Sheikhupura followed with a pass percentage of 67.92%, while Lahore had a pass percentage of 64.04%, and Kasur recorded a pass percentage of 63.02%.

Among the joint holders of the overall first position, Mubashira and Syed Muhammad Mohi Ud Din secured 1,158 marks each, while Muhammad Ahmad Shoukat and Muhammad Zunair Amjad also shared the second position with 1,157 marks each. Ayesha Bakhsh finished third with 1,156 marks.
