B&M European Value Retail appoints Mike Iddon as director

Mike Iddon has been appointed as an independent non-executive director at B&M European Value Retail plc, effective January 4, 2027. Iddon will join the company's Audit and Risk Committee and Nomination Committee upon his appointment. The retail company operates in the UK and sells a variety of goods at low prices. Iddon has previously worked as Group Chief Financial Officer at Pets at Home Group plc and held roles as Chief Financial Officer at New Look and Tesco.

He also served at Kingfisher and Whitbread and has been a non-executive director of Wickes Group plc since 2021. Iddon is a chartered accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. B&M European Value Retail said they are pleased to welcome Iddon to the Board, praising his extensive experience in finance, commercial, and listed companies.

Iddon expressed his enthusiasm for joining the B&M Board, stating that the Group has a strong value proposition and serves customers in the UK and France. The appointment adheres to UK Listing Rule 6.4.6R and no further information is required per UK Listing Rule 6.4.8R.
