Avengers: Endgame Encore Leaks Reveal New Ending and Additional Scenes That Connect to Avengers: Doomsday, Including Several Unannounced Cast Members

Leaked footage from early screenings of Avengers: Endgame Encore reveals new scenes that tie the 2019 Marvel blockbuster directly to the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday. These additional extras aim to entice theatergoers to rewatch the last Avengers film, thus boosting Marvel's coffers and prepping audiences for what's next. Spoilers ahead: the leaked scenes showcase several characters whose appearances in Doomsday had not been previously revealed.

One new ending to Endgame shows Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter sharing a dance, but this moment is interrupted by the arrival of Loki, who greets them while Steve looks surprised. Loki is revealed to have joined the Time Variance Authority (TVA) before becoming the powerful replacement for Kang. This ties into theories that Loki moved Steve, Peggy, and their son to another branch of the multiverse to protect them from harm, several years before the events of Doomsday.

Hulk appears in a new scene during the credits, where Mark Ruffalo plays Bruce Banner (and briefly off-screen, the Hulk). Banner, now secluded in an underground military bunker, records a video discussing his work on a new stabilizing serum. However, Doctor Doom interrupts his video to collect Banner. The doctor morphs into the Hulk once more, with Robert Downey Jr.'s voice heard saying he's come to collect Banner.

The TVA realizes the multiverse is collapsing after Loki's ascension to godhood. Loki's former colleagues within the TVA, Mobius, Casey, and Ouroboros, panic as they spot Earths from different universes colliding and attacking each other. One of these Earths is Universe-1005, the Fox X-Men universe, which supports earlier leaks about the mutant team surviving incursions by wiping out other universes.

The TVA team quickly grasps the severity of the situation, with thousands of universes at risk of being annihilated through incursions.
