Amaravati Regional Summit in Vijayawada on October 16 ahead of CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam

The Amaravati Regional Summit is scheduled to take place in Vijayawada on October 16, 2026, preceding the 31st CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam from November 12 to 13, according to NTR district Collector G. Lakshmisha. This regional summit aims to bring together stakeholders from eight districts to highlight local industrial potential, investment prospects, and resources.

The event is expected to foster a propitious investment environment ahead of the main summit, offering opportunities for entrepreneurs, micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and local industries.

During a virtual preparatory meeting on September 22, 2026, officials from the eight districts assessed arrangements and deliberated on investment promotion, industrial development, MSME involvement, enhancing local industries, and fostering industry-academia partnerships. Collector Lakshmisha emphasized that the regional meetings would aid in recognizing area-specific industrial strengths, encourage balanced regional growth, attract investments, and facilitate connections between MSMEs and investors.

The government will facilitate land requirements and support under its industrial policies, while encouraging emerging sectors such as Industry 4.0, deep technology, and start-ups. He encouraged entrepreneurs to actively participate and utilize the Amaravati summit as a platform to secure investments and sign numerous Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs).

Officials from NTR, Guntur, Palnadu, Prakasam, Markapuram, Eluru, Bapatla, and Krishna districts took part in the preparatory meeting. The 31st CII Partnership Summit is being organized in alignment with the Viksit Bharat and Swarna Andhra@2047 economic objectives.
