Almost every F1 race gets the chop in 2027, but one escapes untouched
The FIA has officially confirmed that the race distance at Grands Prix will be reduced from the usual 305km to 290km in 2027 to accommodate the changes to the Power Unit regulations. But how many laps shorter will each race actually be? Formula 1has already confirmed the 2027 calendar, with the championship retaining its 24-round format but introducing several changes to the schedule.
