New York - Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), took part in a meeting held by US President Donald Trump with leaders and foreign ministers from various Arab and Islamic nations during the 81st United Nations General Assembly session. The gathering was made up of King Abdullah II of Jordan, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Turkey, Ahmed al-Sharaa of Syria, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah of Kuwait, Ali Al Zaidi of Iraq, Dr. Nawaf Salam of Lebanon, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly of Egypt, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister of Jordan, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani of Bahrain, and Ambassador Talal bin Sulaiman bin Habib Al Rahbi of Oman to the United States.

During the discussion, Sheikh Abdullah addressed the ongoing regional developments and the situation in the Middle East. He also emphasized the importance of consolidating security and stability, fulfilling the aspirations of the region's people for development and economic prosperity, and strengthening multilateral international action to support peace, development, and stability.

Sheikh Abdullah expressed his appreciation for US President Donald Trump's efforts in promoting security and stability, as well as advancing peace and development in the Middle East.

He reaffirmed the UAE's commitment to regional and international efforts aimed at de-escalation and establishing lasting peace, ensuring security, stability, and prosperity for all people in the region. The meeting highlighted the strong strategic relations between the UAE and the United States, which are built on trust, mutual respect, shared interests, and fruitful cooperation across various sectors to support the development priorities of both friendly nations.
