2 ditahan, wanita OKU maut akibat selisih faham

Kuala Kangsar Police Chief Heisham Harun disclosed that an investigation into the death of a disabled woman found dead in a house in Kampung Cheh Kati, Kuala Kangsar initially pointed to a misunderstanding between the victim and the suspect as the cause of the incident. The police received a report around 2:38 pm after family members discovered the victim unresponsive in a semi-conscious state, covered in blood in the living room of their home.

Heisham stated that the police subsequently detained two men suspected of involvement in the incident and discovered a knife believed to have been used as a weapon. Preliminary investigations suggested that the incident was a result of a misunderstanding between the victim and the suspect, according to Sinar Harian. Earlier reports stated that Nor Ainon Omar, 49, was found lying in a pool of blood in her home with her husband and three children.

Heisham mentioned that the victim's body was sent to Taiping Forensic Hospital for a post-mortem examination and the case was classified as a murder investigation under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
