Vivo X500 Brings Gimbal-Level Stabilization, 3x Optical Zoom

Vivo has introduced the X500, a flagship smartphone featuring a 2K 144Hz display, a 7,500mAh battery, and advanced camera capabilities. The device boasts a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 4,000 nits and supports refresh rates from 30Hz to 144Hz. The phone comes in Earth Echo, Sunny Day, Dawn, and Night variants, providing IP68 and IP69 water and dust protection.

The X500 is equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600M chipset, paired with LPDDR5X Ultra memory and UFS 4.1 storage. The device runs on OriginOS 7, built on Android 17, and offers features such as 72-month performance support. The smartphone’s camera system includes a 50MP main sensor with Zeiss optics, gimbal-level stabilization, and 3x optical zoom.

The 64MP telephoto lens offers a 72mm equivalent focal length, 3x optical zoom, and a minimum focusing distance of 15cm. The device can capture 4K video at 120fps, 8K Live, and 4K cinematic Live, with Vivo collaborating with platforms like Weibo to facilitate sharing 8K Live content. The X500 also features a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 7,500mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging, and is available in three storage options priced between $821 and $1,045.
