UConn superfan 'Little Red' plans 62-mile walk to exhibition game, outpacing previous effort

UConn superfan Little Red, also known as Henry Blethen, is planning a 62-mile walk to the exhibition game of the Huskies against Syracuse at Mohegan Sun Arena on October 13. Blethen, who has been a vocal supporter of the UConn men's basketball team during road games, is attempting to surpass his previous 44-mile walk to support the Husky Ticket Project organization.

The Husky Ticket Project aims to provide young UConn fans with the opportunity to experience UConn sporting events, and Blethen hopes to raise over $15,000 through this year's walk. Blethen's efforts were recognized last year when he surpassed his initial goal and received support from former UConn stars Ryan Boatwright and Donovan Clingan. He will complete the 62-mile distance over two days to avoid physical strain.
