Trump praises Qatar’s Gaza aid at UNGA, says funds go ‘right where it is needed’

President Donald Trump, addressing the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York, denounced the persecution of Christians worldwide by oppressive regimes. Trump called upon UN members to unite in combating these enemies and creating a safer, more peaceful world. He emphasized that UN nations must fulfill their responsibilities to one another, stating, "Christians are being persecuted all over the world but its been happening for a long time, the persecution of Christians by crimes of the world’s most aversive regimes yet they want America to open up her borders to gangs and criminals from the world’s most ancient places, the want the worst people to come in from the worst places of the world and we don’t do it any more."

Trump urged the global community to approach this challenge with strength and resolve, rejecting voices that promote fear and doubt. He argued that by working together, nations could make the world a stronger, more prosperous place, enhancing economies and promoting peace not only at the UN but throughout the world.
