The new CC, an AI agent built for families

Google has introduced CC, an AI agent designed to assist families in managing their busy schedules and household tasks. Families can invite up to six members to share information, enabling CC to organize calendars, track tasks, and handle logistics such as meal planning and registration forms. The agent, accessible via email or waitlist for U.S. users with a personal Google account, aims to make household management more efficient by providing a shared daily brief of relevant information.

CC can automatically add calendar events, take actions like filling out forms with consent, and operates with a distinct identity and clear permissions model, ensuring privacy by only seeing what each member chooses to share. This innovative tool is an early experiment from Google Labs, now integrated into the Gemini App as Daily Brief, helping families save time on coordination and spend more time together.
