Singapore Online Safety Commission gets 500-plus reports in first two months, youngest victim seven

The Online Safety Commission (OSC) in Singapore has received over 500 reports of online harm within the first two months of its operation, starting from June 29. According to Minister for Digital Development and Information Josephine Teo, doxxing was the most common form of online harm, accounting for 44 percent of the reported cases during this period.

Online harassment followed closely, representing 38 percent of the reported online harms. Other types of online harm included intimate image abuse (8 percent), online stalking (7 percent), and image-based child abuse involving victims under 16 years old (3 percent). The OSC successfully resolved more than 90 percent of the eligible reports it received.
