Russian Ballistic Strikes Hit Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih and Pavlohrad, 3 Wounded

Russian forces launched ballistic missile strikes on industrial facilities in Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, and Pavlohrad, three cities in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region, on Tuesday, Sept. 22. The strikes, which occurred simultaneously, wounded at least three people and triggered fires, according to Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

Hanzha's warning was relayed through Telegram, stating, "Dnipropetrovsk region is under enemy attack. The Russians simultaneously struck industrial enterprises in three cities of the region – Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih and Pavlohrad." The Ukrainian Air Force had issued a warning of a ballistic missile threat shortly before the explosions, which were reported at around 1:58 a.m. Ukrainian authorities have noted a series of heavy Russian attacks across the Dnipropetrovsk region over the past day.

On Monday, nearly 50 drone and artillery strikes were reported in four districts, resulting in one fatality and damage to infrastructure, a store, and a kindergarten. Over recent weeks, Dnipropetrovsk region has been repeatedly targeted by Russian drone, missile, and artillery attacks, including strikes on Pavlohrad and other industrial centers.
