Russia hits sea vessels, port infrastructure in Ukraine

Since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, the General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces has reported that the nation has suffered significant losses, with an estimated 1,520,880 troops killed or missing in action. This figure encompasses the 1,230 Russian casualties recorded over the previous day. In addition to the human toll, Russia has experienced extensive material losses, including 12,364 tanks, 25,374 armored combat vehicles, and 152,173 vehicles and fuel tanks.

The nation has also lost 50,184 artillery systems, 2,151 multiple launch rocket systems, and 1,663 air defense systems. Moreover, Russia has seen the loss of 442 aircraft and 356 helicopters, along with 2,720 unmanned ground vehicles, 529,134 operational-tactical UAVs, and 4,733 pieces of special equipment. The intensity of Russian drone attacks and the challenging fighting conditions have hampered Ukraine's ability to retrieve fallen soldiers' bodies for DNA confirmation.
