PFF grades after the Vikings' Week 2 win over the Bears

The NFL season often provides fans and media with a chance to verify and balance information on player performances, preventing bias from influencing their perception. PFF, an independent grading system, offers an additional perspective to examine games objectively. In the Vikings' Week 2 victory over the Bears, PFF graded several players on their offensive, defensive, and special teams performances.

The best offensive grades belonged to OT Brian O'Neil (68.3), OT Christian Darrisaw (65.1), and WR Justin Jefferson (64.5). Conversely, the worst offensive grades went to RB Myles Price (48), G Donovan Jackson (49), and RB DeeJay Dallas (49.5). RB Aaron Jones received a solid 64.7 for his rushing performance, while QB Carson Wentz earned a 62.9.

The finest run blocking grades were achieved by RB Myles Price (72.8), WR Justin Jefferson (63.5), and FB Max Bredeson (62.2). However, WR Jordan Addison (42.6) and TE T.J. Hockenson (46) received the lowest run blocking grades. OT Brian O'Neil and OT Christian Darrisaw also led the pass blocking grades with 83.2 and 78.6, respectively.

FB Max Bredeson rounded out the top pass blockers with a 74. On the defensive side, DL Jalen Redmond (78.2) and CB Isaiah Rodgers (74) headlined the best defensive grades, while DL Caleb Banks (29.6) and DL Domonique Orange (42.3) earned the lowest. LB Andrew Van Ginkel and LB Eric Wilson received the worst defensive grades, while LB Ivan Pace Jr. and DL Domonique Orange led the pass rush grades at 77.4 and 67.7, respectively.
